“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, NIV)

Stepping into the unknown can be a daunting experience. Fear of the future, of failure, and even of success can paralyze us and prevent us from moving forward. But in the book of Joshua, we are reminded that fear and discouragement have no place in the life of a believer, because we serve a God who is always with us.

The same God who was with Joshua thousands of years ago is with us today. His promise still stands, and His presence is still our source of courage.
